IMPORTANT NOTE

IMPORTANT NOTE
Warframe as a game is always changing and evolving. Two major examples that I have personally played through are the U22.12 weapon overhaul, and the U27.2 Warframe Revised update. Unfortunately for a sporadic content creator like myself, this means that my content is made redundant over time, and I don't have the time to update everything. As such, please take note of the version at the time of each review's latest update.

Review: EFV-5 Jupiter (U38.5.11)

The EFV-5 Jupiter is a new two-mode MR12 Rifle. With a conventional primary Full-Auto and a powerful-but-slow charge up Alt Fire, this Scaldra weapon is fairly effective in most content, though struggles to carve out a notable niche in today's insane meta.

Review: Reconifex (U38.0.12)

The Reconifex is a new(ish) Full-Auto Rifle, dropped in U38: 1999. Cyte-09's signature weapon, it sports a perfect-reload mechanic that both drastically shortens its Reload Time, and provides guaranteed Heat damage and procs.

Review: AX-52 (U36.0.8)

The AX-52 is a new MR12 Primary, which will look very familiar to many of you. A Full-Auto Rifle, it is a solid weapon with a few interesting gimmicks to distinguish itself, but faces immense competition in an extremely stacked category.

Review: Velox Prime (U35.5.11)

The Velox Prime is an MR13 Full-Auto Secondary. Protea Prime's signature Secondary, it is a Status-leaning weapon that notably has innate Ammo Efficiency. A largely conventional weapon, it is solid but not outstanding in a game full of absolutely bonkers weapons.

Review: Acceltra Prime (U35.0.11)

The Acceltra Prime is an MR14 Full-Auto explosive Rifle. Gauss Prime's signature Primary, it excels at clearing through groups of enemies, and its major Status Chance increase also allows it to spread Status procs much more reliably. However, it is still curtailed by its very low Ammo Max, and can be awkward to use in close quarters due to its minimum arming distance.

Review: Gotva Prime (U33.6.9)

The Gotva Prime is a new MR12 Rifle. Released as one of the Tennocon 2023 Twitch drops, it is a solid, if rather unexceptional Full-Auto weapon.

Review: Fulmin Prime (U33.6.0)

The Fulmin Prime is an MR12 Rifle, an improvement over the MR8 Fulmin. Wisp Prime's signature weapon, it possesses two distinct, Crit-heavy firing modes. Semi-Auto fires a hefty projectile great against crowds, while Full-Auto is a conventional, accurate hitscan attack. The two combine into a single, versatile and reasonably powerful weapon.

Review: Burston Incarnon (U33.0.14)

As you'd most likely know by now, in U33: The Duviri Paradox, DE released a number of "Incarnon Genesis" adapters for existing weak or powercrept weapons. In many ways these have re-invigorated said weapons to be reasonably competitive with the current meta, if not outright top-tier.

I thought it appropriate to start this review series with my favourite of the lot (thus far), the Burston Incarnon. As Incarnon Genesis also makes the base form drastically stronger, these will be largely kept separate of reviews for the un-Incarnoned base weapon.

NOTE: This review demonstrates Incarnon on a Burston Prime.

Review: Afuris Prime (U32.2.10)

The Afuris Prime is an MR12 Full-Auto Dual Secondary. Baruuk Prime's signature Pistols, it is a moderately capable, fast-firing, Status-leaning weapon. However, it is largely unexceptional and generally outclassed by a good number of other Secondaries.

Review: Tenet Tetra (Updated U32.0.8)

The Tenet Tetra is an MR16 Rifle, one of the new variants introduced for the U30.5 Sisters of Parvos. With massive stat increases across the board as well as a powerful new second firing mode, it is a well rounded and overall quite strong weapon.

EDIT: U32 changed the Tenet Tetra alternate fire to deplete the remaining magazine in the explosive attack, with damage scaling based on amount of ammo left. This is a significant improvement to the weapon and allows seamless use of both firing modes.

Review: Felarx (Updated U32.0.6)

EDIT: Felarx Incarnon form was given a significant buff in U32 - base Damage increased from 500 to 600, and given a Catchmoon-like wave projectile. These drastically improve the viability of Incarnon form and justify a re-review.

The Felarx is a new MR14 Incarnon Shotgun. Following the incredibly powerful Laetum and Phenmor, it has extremely high standards to live up to. A moderately strong, if slightly unexceptional Shotgun in Default form, headshots charge up Incarnon form. Incarnon form fires wave-like projectiles that tear through crowds, however its lower Burst DPS makes Default form the stronger single-target weapon. The Felarx is the first Incarnon weapon that is best used as a two-mode weapon, unlike the others which want to be in Incarnon form at all times.

NOTE: There are very slight spoilers for Angels of the Zariman, due to the Felarx's acquisition and upgrade methods.

Review: Twin Grakatas (U31.7.2)

The Twin Grakatas are an MR9 Dual Secondary, introduced back in U17. Clem's signature weapon, as its name suggests it is consists of a pair of Grakata Rifles, with similar base stats albeit as a Secondary rather than a Primary. It excels at putting a huge number of rounds downrange, dealing very good Burst DPS but also consuming a ridiculous amount of ammo. While undoubtedly strong, it has several notable drawbacks and faces rather stiff competition.

Review: Hystrix Prime (U31.7.0)

The Hystrix Prime is an MR12 Full-Auto Secondary, one of Khora Prime's signature weapons. With forced elemental procs and great Crit, it is quite strong against all manner of single Status-vulnerable targets. However, it reloads very frequently and has little capability against large groups.

Review: Kuva Twin Stubbas (Updated U31.6.3)

Updated 24th June 2022, U31.6.3
Original posted U27.1.2

The Kuva Twin Stubbas are an MR13 Dual Secondary introduced with Kuva Liches. With great Status Chance backed up by solid Crit and a very large Mag Capacity, they are among the best Dual Secondaries in the game currently.

Review: Aeolak (U31.5.10)

The Aeolak is a new MR10 Rifle, release in U31.5. It packs a relatively solid, slow Full-Auto Primary Fire, as well as a powerful explosive Alternate Fire with a short Charge Time. It is a versatile, if perhaps not spectacular, weapon.

NOTE: There are very slight spoilers for Angels of the Zariman, due to the acquisition of this weapon.

Review: Phenmor (U31.5.9)

The Phenmor is an MR14 Rifle, another weapon in the new Incarnon family. A slow-firing Semi-Auto Rifle in its Default form, each headshot charges up its Incarnon form. When transformed into Incarnon form, the Phenmor is a fearsome Full-Auto heavy machine gun that tears through almost every enemy with ease.

NOTE: Like with the Laetum, there are very slight spoilers for the new Angels of the Zariman quest and content.

Review: Laetum (U31.5.7)

The Laetum is an MR14 Secondary, one of the new "Incarnon" weapons. Its default form is a fairly ordinary slow-firing Semi-Auto, however headshots will charge up an Incarnon form. When transformed, the Laetum is quite possibly the strongest ranged weapon in the entire game.

NOTE: Angels of the Zariman spoilers have been kept to a minimum in this review, but by nature of its acquisition and upgrade it is not completely spoiler free.

Review: Alternox (U31.7.2)

The Alternox is an MR8 Rifle, recently released in U31.5. Gyre's signature weapon, it is a Status-focused Electric weapon with two distinct, but unfortunately unimpressive firing modes. While novel, it offers little that other weapons do not match or outclass.

NOTE: There are very slight spoilers for Angels of the Zariman, noting the Alternox's acquisition method.

UPDATED 21/08/2022 (U31.7.2) - Update made to the Galvanised Mods section in light of new information.

Review: Knell Prime (U31.0.8)

The Knell Prime is an unusual MR14 Secondary. Harrow Prime's signature Pistol, it transforms from a mediocre one-shot to a formidable Full-Auto weapon upon achieving headshots. With additional stat improvements from landing headshots, it possesses exceptional firepower when used correctly, but offers very little if not.

Review: Scourge Prime (U31.0.6)

The Scourge Prime is an MR14 Speargun Primary. Harrow's signature weapon, its original version was released alongside him in U21, with the Prime releasing alongside Harrow Prime in U31. With a Status-focused Corrosive Primary Fire and a headshot-forcing Alternate Fire, it is a unique tool perhaps more notable for its utility than its capabilities as a weapon.
