IMPORTANT NOTE

IMPORTANT NOTE
Warframe as a game is always changing and evolving. Two major examples that I have personally played through are the U22.12 weapon overhaul, and the U27.2 Warframe Revised update. Unfortunately for a sporadic content creator like myself, this means that my content is made redundant over time, and I don't have the time to update everything. As such, please take note of the version at the time of each review's latest update.

Review: Burston Incarnon (U33.0.14)

As you'd most likely know by now, in U33: The Duviri Paradox, DE released a number of "Incarnon Genesis" adapters for existing weak or powercrept weapons. In many ways these have re-invigorated said weapons to be reasonably competitive with the current meta, if not outright top-tier.

I thought it appropriate to start this review series with my favourite of the lot (thus far), the Burston Incarnon. As Incarnon Genesis also makes the base form drastically stronger, these will be largely kept separate of reviews for the un-Incarnoned base weapon.

NOTE: This review demonstrates Incarnon on a Burston Prime.

Review: Ambassador (U30.5.3)

The Ambassador is an MR10 Rifle, introduced in U30.5 Sisters of Parvos. An Electric-based weapon, it has a conventional Full-Auto mode, as well as a slow but powerful charge-fire. It is a novel, if not especially strong, weapon.

Review: Epitaph (U30.1.0)

The Epitaph is an MR8 wrist-mounted Secondary. Sevagoth's signature weapon, it sports two very different firing modes. With each firing mode playing into a particular role very well, it has a number of major strengths, but also some notable weaknesses.

Review: Burston Prime (U29.8.1)

The Burston Prime is an MR12 Burst-Fire Rifle. Released all the way back in U11.5, it is one of the "unvaultable" Prime weapons, and is always available. A Status-focused Rifle, it is largely outclassed by many other weapons, though serves as a decent, easy-to-get Prime.

Review: Sepulcrum (U29.1.1)

The Sepulcrum is an MR14 Secondary, the counterpart to the Primary Trumna. Firing pairs of explosive rounds in Primary Fire, and a swarm of homing projectiles with its Alternate Fire, it is powerful, if somewhat unconventional, heavy pistol.

Review: Stahlta (U28.0.4)

The Stahlta is a new MR10 Rifle, released in the U28 Deadlock Protocol update. A weapon with two firing modes, it complements a conventional Full-Auto Primary Fire with a slow but incredibly powerful explosive Alternate Fire.

Review: Kuva Quartakk (U27.3.8)

The Kuva Quartakk is an MR13 Rifle with two firing modes. Firing from the hip uses a slow-firing, relatively weak Full-Auto. When zoomed in, it retains the signature simultaneous four-shot-Burst-Fire of the original Quartakk. With several increased stats to go with its new versatility, the Kuva Quartakk is a powerful but slow Rifle.

Review: Kuva Kraken (U27.2.2)

The Kuva Kraken is an MR15 Burst-Fire Secondary, with enormous improvements over the original Kraken. Between a very strong spread of stats as well as the very powerful Kuva Lich Damage Bonus, it is quite a capable weapon.

Review: Kuva Hind (U27.2.2)

The MR15 Kuva Hind is a drastically improved version of the Grineer-made Hind. With massive buffs to just about every stat, it is a formidable weapon and among the best Rifles in the game currently.

Review: Quellor (U27.1.2)

The Quellor is an MR12 Rifle with two very distinct firing modes. Its Primary Fire is a status-focused Full-Auto with enormous capacity, while its Secondary Fire charges up an immensely powerful short range wave blast. Both are quite potent, though also have notable flaws.

Review: Akarius (U25.7.6)

The Akarius is an MR8 explosive secondary, and is Gauss' signature sidearm. It deals significant damage in a wide radius, with high Status capabilities and delayed arming to mitigate self-damage. It is a fairly powerful secondary, though is held back by horribly long Reload Time and a tiny spare ammo reserve.

Review: Quartakk (U25.6.3)

The Quartakk is four-barreled MR10 Burst-Fire Rifle, with solid overall stats but a relatively slow RoF. It is an unusual Burst-Fire Rifle, easily distinguishing itself from the other Burst Rifles in the game, though has its own share of downsides.

Review: Quatz (U25.5.2)

The Quatz is an MR9 dual-mode pistol, released in U25.4. Uniquely, its firing mode is set by whether you are aiming or firing from the hip. Firing from hip uses Full-Auto, while aiming switches to Burst-Fire. With distinct stats in its two firing modes, it is a versatile and fairly powerful secondary.

Review: Cyanex (U25.0.8)

The Cyanex is an unusual MR8 secondary with two distinct firing modes, released in U25. Its Primary Fire launches explosive, homing projectiles that also bounce, while its Secondary Fire rapidly ejects all of its ammo straight ahead. With both firing modes having exceptional status capabilities and their own unique features, the Cyanex is a decently powerful and rather fun secondary.

Review: Sybaris Prime and Dex Sybaris (U24.4.3)

This will be the first time I'm covering two weapons of the same family at the same time. The families I could have covered in the past are: the Latron Prime/Wraith (I forgot about the Wraith at the time, and consider it largely inferior), the Braton Prime/Vandal (again the Vandal is largely inferior), and the Cernos Rakta/Prime (the Prime functions very differently to the rest of the Cernos family, so I felt it worth covering separately). This time around, both the Sybaris Prime and Dex Sybaris are good rifles worth covering.

The Sybaris Prime is an MR12 Burst-Fire rifle, released in U20.6.2 alongside Oberon Prime. With high crit and Status Chance and rather high base Damage, the Sybaris Prime is a powerful and versatile hard-hitting burst rifle.
The Dex Sybaris is an MR7 Burst-Fire rifle, originally released for Warframe's third anniversary in U18.6.2. With slightly higher crit, but much lower Status Chance, it also hits very hard, but lacks the extra scaling factor that the Prime has. With that said, it is still a very good MR7 rifle.

Review: Sicarus Prime (U24.2.10)

The Sicarus Prime is an MR14 Burst-Fire pistol originally released back in U11, alongside Ember and Glaive Primes. It has since released several buffs, having previously been quite weak and underwhelming on release. It is currently a rather powerful secondary, though is not without its flaws.

Review: AkJagara Prime (U24.2.6)

The AkJagara Prime is an MR12 dual secondary, released alongside Mesa and Redeemer Primes in U24.2.2. It is a 2-shot Burst-Fire weapon with a high RoF, and is one of the few dual secondaries that uses different models for the two pistols. With almost universal improvements over the base model, the AkJagara Prime is a fairly powerful and versatile weapon.

Review: Hema (U24.2.6)

The Hema is an MR7 Infested Burst-Fire rifle with notoriously high Dojo research requirements. It has many rare and unique features, including pure Viral base Damage, lifesteal and health draining. Though not the easiest weapon to acquire or the most powerful by any means, I find it to be a very different and fun rifle.

Review: Battacor (U24.0.9)

The MR10 Battacor is a Corpus rifle with integrated Sentient tech, like the Ocucor, released with Fortuna in U24. It has many special features, including a currently unique "Auto Burst" trigger, and a powerful Opticor-like secondary fire. It has quickly become one of my favourite weapons, and is an overall solid and fun weapon.

Review: Nagantaka (U24.0.2)

The Nagantaka is Garuda's signature primary, an MR9 crossbow very recently released in U24. It is quite unique among current bows, being semi-auto with a special secondary fire. With 90% Slash damage and solid base stats, it's a fairly powerful bow that can do some good damage to most enemies.
