Warframe as a game is always changing and evolving. Two major examples that I have personally played through are the U22.12 weapon overhaul, and the U27.2 Warframe Revised update. Baro Ki'Teer: 27/03/2020

A mixed bag of items from Baro, notably including one new(ish) mod.


New Items

  • Split Flights - +100 Multishot, -180% Accuracy on hit for 2 seconds, stacking up to 4 times. Does not work on Crossbows, the explosive Bows, or Ivara's Artemis Bow. Cannot be used with Split Chamber.

Rankings

Must Buy

  • Prisma Twin Gremlins - MR11 Full-Auto Dual Secondary. Very well rounded set of stats, reasonably powerful and quite versatile. In my opinion, among the best Secondaries in the game, and among my favourites.

Good

  • Prisma Grakata - MR11 Full-Auto Rifle. High Crit and Status making it quite potent, but eats ammo like crazy and has heavy recoil. Great in close quarters, but quite poor at longer range.
  • Mara Detron (note: link is obsolete with Status changes) - MR9 Shotgun Secondary. Formerly among the best Status weapons in the game, but became significantly weaker with the Status rework in U27.2. This is somewhat balanced out by greatly reduced enemy scaling, but it is still a mere shadow of its old self. Still a decent Status Secondary, but no longer really, really good.
  • Primed Fever Strike - +165% Toxin Damage for Melee. A big damage boost to anything that can fit it, and combines into the two best damage types (Viral and Corrosive).
  • Primed Cryo Rounds - +165% Cold Damage for Rifles. A big damage boost to the best damage type in the game (Viral), and a decent amount of extra damage alongside other damages. Can be tough to fit in builds as the D polarity is very limited.

Niche

  • Split Flights - fits only in a small selection of bows (Dread, Paris family, Cernos family, Daikyu, Mutalist Cernos), and from what I've read so far, is only good on the Mutalist Cernos. The accuracy penalty is far too harsh on all the other weapons to be worth using. Mutalist Cernos can make notably good use of it as it is an AoE bow, and the toxin clouds it produces can proc and refresh Split Flights as well. Not awful on Cernos Prime either, since it already fires a heap of arrows and stacks up very quickly, but its spread is drastically widened, making it essentially a bow shotgun. For some reason, the accuracy penalty makes Vertical spread starts spreading horizontally, and vice versa.
  • Sands of Inaros - quest for Inaros. Always available from Baro, a good buy when you have spare Ducats and nothing else to get.

Do Not Buy

  • Thermite Rounds/Scattering Inferno - 60/60 Heat mods for Rifles and Shotguns respectively. Can be farrmed from Spy mission, or bought from other players for quite cheap.
