Baro Ki'Teer: 15/07/2022

Several items of good value this visit, though of course Tennocon tickets will give you access to Baro's entire stock tomorrow.

  • Secret History Replica - Decoration.

Must Buy

  • Primed Target Cracker - +110% Crit Damage for Secondaries. A mandatory buy for any Crit-viable Secondary, offers a massive boost over regular Target Cracker.
  • Primed Pistol Gambit - +187% Crit Chance for Secondaries. Less crucial than Primed Target Cracker since Creeping Bullseye can be used in its stead, and its improvement over regular Pistol Gambit is not as large.

Good

  • Primed Point Blank - +165% Damage for Shotguns. A strong up-front, no-fuss damage boost that is sufficient for most content in the game. In late-game builds, faces obsolescence from Galvanised Savvy and +Damage Arcanes, both of which are conditionally much stronger.
  • Primed Pressure Point - +165% Damage for Melee. Faces extreme competition from Condition Overload which is far superior on most weapons, as well as Sacrificial Pressure which can be better on many of the remaining weapons. Sees little use on fully optimised late-game builds, but is strong enough for the vast majority of content.

Niche

  • Prisma Twin Gremlins - MR11 Full-Auto Dual Secondary. Well-rounded, but faces stiff competition from several other very strong weapons, such as the Kuva Twin Stubbas and Tenet Diplos.
  • Mara Detron - MR9 Semi-Auto Shotgun Secondary. Decent Status output, but also faces very stiff competition, notably its much stronger Tenet sibling.
  • Sands of Inaros - Quest for Inaros. Always in Baro's inventory.
  • Baro Void-Signal - Key to exclusive mission line, awarding cosmetics. Can only be purchased and played with Inaros Prime. Always in Baro's inventory.

Do Not Buy

  • Sweeping Serration - +120% Slash for Shotguns. Sees some use only on very specific weapons; often outclassed by Hunter Munitions in terms of Slash proc output on any Crit-viable Shotgun. Drops from Hydrolyst, so can also be purchased for fairly cheap from other players.
