IMPORTANT NOTE

IMPORTANT NOTE
Warframe as a game is always changing and evolving. Two major examples that I have personally played through are the U22.12 weapon overhaul, and the U27.2 Warframe Revised update. Unfortunately for a sporadic content creator like myself, this means that my content is made redundant over time, and I don't have the time to update everything. As such, please take note of the version at the time of each review's latest update.

Baro Ki'Teer: 16/8/19

Several decent buys from Baro this time around.

New Items

  • Desert Skate Floof - Decoration.

Rankings

Must Buy

  • Primed Animal Instinct - +55m Loot Radar, +33m Enemy Radar for Companions. A very useful mod that provides a significant range increase over its regular counterpart. Great for hunting down enemies and hidden loot, as well as general situational awareness.
  • Primed Pressure Point - +165% Damage for Melee. More base damage is more base damage, can't argue with that, though provides significantly less of a bonus over its regular counterpart than most Priemd mods.
  • Mara Detron - MR9 Semi-Auto Secondary shotgun. Can reach the required 100% Status Chance, and has pure Radiation base Damage, making it among the best elemental status weapons in the game.

Good

  • Prisma Grakata - MR11 Full-Auto Rifle. Has very good Crit and Status Chance, for an all-round powerful weapon. Very low damage-per-shot and very high RoF, making it extremely ammo inefficient.

Niche

  • Primed Pack Leader - +66% Heal for your Pet with Melee attacks. Melee is absurdly strong right now, capable of obliterating rooms of very high level enemeis with ease. The difference between this mod and its regular counterpart is negligible if your Melee weapon is modded correctly, making this mod largely unnecessary.
  • Sands of Inaros - Quest to acquire Inaros. Always in Baro's stock, so not a priority. Remains a good buy if you have the Credits and Ducats spare.

Do Not Buy

  • Pummel/Crash Course/Full Contact/Collision Force - +120% Impact for weapons. Impact is a rubbish damage type, and these mods drop from the Teralyst, so many players have spares that they are willing to sell for very cheap. If you must have these mods, just buy them from other players.
  • Corrupted Heavy Gunner Specter - Lacks any utility that a well-chosen Warframe Specter does not already offer, and falls behind in damage output at high levels. Warframe Specters are far superior, not only because they can be equipped with better weapons (e.g. Arca Plasmor for its huge AoE and base Radiation damage), and can use their abilities.
