Baro Ki'Teer: 26/07/2024

A couple of good items, including a Relic for the new Akmagnus Prime, which DE definitely didn't accidentally leak in patch notes.

New Items

  • Axi M5 Relic - Relic containing Magnus and Akmagnus Prime parts.

Rankings

Must Buy

  • Primed Point Blank - +165 Damage for Shotguns. A significant boost over regular Point Blank, and remains relevant on a number of Shotguns even with Galv mods and Arcanes in the mix.

Good

  • Axi M5 Relic - Magnus Prime is a solid Semi-Auto Secondary that greatly benefits from the new pseudo Full-Auto trigger. While I have yet to acquire Akmagnus Prime, the Wiki suggests that it is exactly as the name suggests - Magnus Prime but doubled, including its Chamber Cascade trait.
  • Primed Pressure Point - +165% Damage for Melee. A less significant boost over regular Pressure Point, and faces immense competition from Condition Overload and to a lesser extent Sacrificial Pressure.
  • Primed Flow - +185% Energy Max for Warframes. Can be nice for Frames who want to cast a lot of Abilities in a short amount of time, or use drain-over-time Abilities, but is not strictly necessary. Regular Flow can work just fine much of the time, or even some Archon Shards for a smaller effect.

Niche

  • Zylok - MR6 Duplex Secondary. Already underwhelming when it was released, it is now hilariously outclassed, including by its Prime version.
  • Split Flights - +Multishot/+Spread mod for Bows that stacks on-hit. Has very limited use cases due to not fitting on most AoE Bows, and having an incredibly short delay timer of 2 seconds. That said, there are a select few Bows that can make very good use of it (e.g. Dread Incarnon, Paris Incarnon, Cernos Prime, Evensong to an extent)
  • Sands of Inaros - Quest for Inaros. Always in Baro's inventory.
  • Baro Void-Signal - Key to exclusive mission line, awarding cosmetics. Can only be purchased and played with Inaros Prime. Always in Baro's inventory.

Do Not Buy

  • Tempo Royale - Stance for Heavy Blade Melees. While I quite like the stance, I would not recommend buying it from Baro as it can be farmed from various sources, and can be bought from other Players for relatively cheap.
