Warframe as a game is always changing and evolving. Two major examples that I have personally played through are the U22.12 weapon overhaul, and the U27.2 Warframe Revised update. Unfortunately for a sporadic content creator like myself, this means that my content is made redundant over time, and I don't have the time to update everything. Some useful items this time around.

New Items

  • Primed Redirection - +180% Shields for Warframes. A significant increase over base Redirection, which is just +100%.

Rankings

Must Buy

  • Primed Fulmination - +44% Blast Radius for Secondaries. A significant power boost for any explosive Secondary.
  • Primed Redirection - +180% Shields for Warframes. A significant survivability increase for any Shield-based Warframe, and particularly strong with the changes to shield-gating. Hildryn is the main Frame coming to mind who benefits.

Good

  • None.

Niche

  • Prisma Dual Decurion - MR1 Archgun. Received a significant buff in U35 Whispers in the Walls, but so did almost every other Archgun, leaving it largely behind the ball again.
  • Split Flights - +Multishot/-Accuracy on hit for non-explosive, non-crossbow Bows, decays very quickly. Cannot be used alongside Split/Galv Chamber. Can be useful on a select subset of Bows who either still have AoE or fire many pellet (Mutalist Cernos, Cernos Prime, Dread Incarnon form, Paris Incarnon form), but again the several penalties make it often not worth the trouble, at least in my opinion.
  • Quanta Vandal - MR10 Beam Rifle with an unusual Alt Fire. Its Beam attack is solid, and the Alt Fire offers some nice (if relatively weak) AoE. While not bad by any means, the current state of Warframe weaponry balance is so comically broken that the QuantaV is still orders of magnitude weaker than the current most powerful weapons. Absolutely usable for the vast majority of content if you do like it.
  • Mara Detron - MR9 Semi-Auto Shotgun Secondary. Strictly outclassed by the MR16 Tenet Detron, among other things.
  • Primed Expel Corrupted - +Damage to Corrupted for Secondaries. A strong multiplier particularly of damage-over-time procs, but total overkill for the vast majority of content.
  • Primed Smite Corpus - +Damage to Corpus for Melee. See above.
  • Combo Killer - +Combo Duration, Secondary kills reset Melee Combo decay timer; for Thrown Melees. A neat combined-arms option for retaining Melee combo, though there are many other ways of doing that effectively anyway.
  • Sands of Inaros - Quest for Inaros. Always in Baro's inventory.
  • Baro Void-Signal - Key to exclusive mission line, awarding cosmetics. Can only be purchased and played with Inaros Prime. Always in Baro's inventory.

Do Not Buy

  • Corrupted Bombard Specter Blueprint - does not offer anything that other Specters do not do better.
