Baro Ki'Teer: 23/09/2022

A few good items and a fair few ok items if you've got the currency to spend.

New Items

  • Aged Claret of Denas - Decoration.

Rankings

Must Buy

  • Jolt - 60/60 Electric mod for Secondaries. Can only be acquired from Baro. Is notably useful for forming Corrosive and increasing Status Chance.

Good

  • Primed Rubedo-Lined Barrel - +187% Damage for Archguns. A significant boost to Archgun damage.
  • Machete Wraith - MR11 Machete Melee. Solid in its class, competes primarily with the new (slower but stronger) Slaytra and Zaws (mainly the Slash-focused Cyath).

Niche

  • Halikar Wraith - MR13 Glaive Melee. Throw explosion inflicts a forced Impact proc. Outclassed by Xoris (larger explosive radius) and Glaive Prime (forced Slash proc on explosion).
  • Axi A2 Relic - Relic containing parts for Lex and Aklex Primes, it is one of the only ways to acquire the latter. While decent for their time, both are largely outclassed by other, newer releases, such as Tombfinger Kitguns and the Pandero Prime.
  • Prisma Dual Decurion - MR1 Archgun. Largely outclassed by other offerings, notably the excellent Mausolon, but is notable as being locked to just MR1.
  • Primed Expel Corpus - +55% Damage to Corpus for Shotguns. Overkill for the vast majority of content in the game, but can be a very strong multiplier for endurance runs.
  • Primed Shotgun Ammo Mutation - Ammo Mutation mod to convert Secondary ammo for Shotguns. Useful for Shotguns that consume a lot of ammo, and notably has 0 Drain when unranked.
  • Primed Pack Leader - +66% "Lifesteal-Link" (heals Companion for 66% of your Melee damage dealt). Total overkill given the damage potential of Melee, a regular Pack Leader is more than enough to instantly full-heal any Companion.
  • Stalker Beacon - Gear item to forcibly spawn Stalker. Useful if you want his drops now, but does not offer anything on top of his random spawns.
  • Sands of Inaros - Quest for Inaros. Always in Baro's inventory.
  • Baro Void-Key - Key to exclusive mission line, awarding exclusive cosmetics. Can only be purchased and played with Inaros Prime. Always in Baro's inventory.
