Baro Ki'Teer: 22/10/2021


Quite a few items worth consideration in this Baro visit, as well as a few hard-to-obtain cosmetic.

New Items

  • Tannukai Longsword Skin - Skin for Longsword Melee. Previously only available as a drop during Tennocon 2021.
  • Lemnas Staff Skin - Skin for Staff Melee. Previously only available as a drop during Tennocon 2020.

Rankings

Must Buy

  • Neo O1 Relic - One of two Relics containing Volt and Odonata Primes. Only available from Baro.
  • Primed Ravage - +110% Crit Damage for Shotguns. A major boost for any Shotgun that uses Crit, of which there are an increasing number of great options.
  • Shell Shock - 60/60 Electric mod for Shotguns. Extremely useful for builds that use Electric damage.

Good

  • Glaxion Vandal - MR12 Beam Rifle. Status-focused with a small AoE, the GlaxionV is a decent Beam weapon though unexceptional given other very strong options like the Ignis Wraith.
  • Split Flights - Bow-exclusive mod. On hit, gives +100% Multishot/-180% Accuracy for 2 seconds, stacking up to 4 times. Cannot be equipped by explosive Bows or Crossbows. Accuracy penalty can be very troublesome. Best on the Cernos Prime which already has innate spread and Multishot, or Mutalist Cernos due to its non-explosive AoE.
  • Eminence - Colour palette exclusive to Baro, one of the colour palettes available without spending Plat.

Niche

  • Zylok - MR6 Duplex Secondary. Slash and Status-focused, badly outclassed by many other weapons.
  • Combo Killer - Thrown Melee-exclusive mod. Gives +5 second Combo Duration, with Combo TImer resetting on Secondary kill. Suits only a very specific playstyle, badly outclassed if you do not use a Secondary and Thrown Melee in tandem.
  • Sands of Inaros - Quest for Inaros. Always in Baro's inventory.
  • Baro Void-Signal - Key to exclusive mission line. Awards exclusive cosmetics and decoration. Can only be bought and played with Inaros Prime.

Do Not Buy

  • 3-Day Affinity Booster - It is generally better value to trade Prime parts for Plat, and buy the booster directly from Market.
  • Collision Force - +120% Impact for Melee. Impact is a terrible damage type, and this mod can be acquired from other players for very cheap anyway, as it drops from the Teralyst.
