Warframe as a game is always changing and evolving. Two major examples that I have personally played through are the U22.12 weapon overhaul, and the U27.2 Warframe Revised update. Unfortunately for a sporadic content creator like myself, this means that my content is made redundant over time, and I don't have the time to update everything. As such, please take note of the version at the time of each review's latest update.

Baro Ki'Teer: 10/09/2021

Not a lot of note this time around.

New Items

  • Rhapsody in Blue - Decoration.

Rankings

Must Buy

  • Jolt - 60/60% Electric mod for Secondaries. Can only be sourced from Baro, and combines into especially Corrosive which is very strong, and Radiation which is not as strong but still has its uses.

Good

  • Prisma Dual Cleavers - MR9 Dual Swords Melee. Very solid Crit, Status and Slash bias, its main weaknesses being very low base Damage and short Range. One of many good Dual Swords.
  • Halikar Wraith - MR13 Thrown Melee. One of the less notable Thrown Melees due to poor base Damage type and proc, but still deals immense damage with a proper build. Has solid Crit and very high Status Chance.

Niche

  • Primed Pistol Ammo Mutation - It is very difficult to find weapons with poor ammo economy for which regular Pistol Ammo Mutation is insufficient. More usefully, the Primed version has 0 drain when unranked, so it can be included for free even in the wrong polarity.
  • Zanuka Hunter Beacon - Gear item to forcibly spawn the Zanuka Hunter assassin. Does not offer any extra drops over the standard random chance encounters, only useful if you absolutely must have its drops as soon as possible.
  • Sands of Inaros - Quest for Inaros. Always in Baro's inventory.
  • Baro Void-Signal - Key to exclusive mission line. Awards exclusive cosmetics and decoration. Can only be purchased and played with Inaros Prime.

Do Not Buy

  • Crash Course - +120% Impact for Rifles. An awful damage type so sees no use anyway, and can be bought from Players for very cheap as it drops from the Teralyst.
  • Buzz Kill - +120% Slash for Melee. Sees very rare use since there is almost always a better mod to slot in, and faces strong competition from Carnis Mandible, which offers slightly less Slash damage but increases Status Chance as well. Can also be bought from other Players for relatively cheap as it drops from the Hydrolyst.
  • Corrupted Heavy Gunner Specter - Offers nothing that an appropriately equipped Warframe Specter cannot do better.
