IMPORTANT NOTE

IMPORTANT NOTE
Warframe as a game is always changing and evolving. Two major examples that I have personally played through are the U22.12 weapon overhaul, and the U27.2 Warframe Revised update. Unfortunately for a sporadic content creator like myself, this means that my content is made redundant over time, and I don't have the time to update everything. As such, please take note of the version at the time of each review's latest update.

Baro Ki'Teer: 5/4/19

Another surprisingly good Baro visit, with good new items to boot! You could say it was a surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.

New Items

  • Prisma Companion Poster - decoration
  • Primed Animal Instinct - increased Loot and Enemy Radar for companions.

Rankings

Must Buy

  • Primed Animal Instinct - massively increased Loot and Enemy Radar for companions. Regular Animal Instinct is already an auto-include on companions, and roughly doubling its radius is an absolutely massive boost.
  • Prisma Grakata - powerful hybrid-capable Full-Auto rifle. Extremely effective at close range, but its high RoF and recoil make it much harder to use at longer ranges.
  • Mara Detron - arguably the best elemental status weapon in the game, capable of inflicting an incredible amount of status in just a few shots. Not especially powerful, but can strip armour at an incredible rate.

Good

  • None.

Niche

  • Primed Heavy Trauma - +165% Impact for melee. Impact is a rubbish damage type in general, but this mod is great for Atlas' Landslide (1).
  • Sands of Inaros - quest to obtain Inaros, always available from Baro.

Do Not Buy

  • Pummel/Collision Force/Full Contact/Crash Course - +Impact mods. Impact is a poor damage type, and these mods are readily available either from Eidolon Hunts, or trading from other players for quite cheap.
  • Corrupted Bombard Specter Blueprint - one use Specter blueprint, for a very mediocre Specter. Doesn't have notably useful abilities or an especially powerful weapon. Warframe and Ancient Healer Specters are generally a lot more useful.
