IMPORTANT NOTE

IMPORTANT NOTE
Warframe as a game is always changing and evolving. Two major examples that I have personally played through are the U22.12 weapon overhaul, and the U27.2 Warframe Revised update. Unfortunately for a sporadic content creator like myself, this means that my content is made redundant over time, and I don't have the time to update everything. As such, please take note of the version at the time of each review's latest update.

Baro Ki'Teer: 8/2/2019

Leave it to Baro to bring an underwhelming stock when I was ready to throw Ducats at him.

New Items

  • Prisma Kavat/Kubrow Glyph: Cosmetic

Rankings

Must Buy

  • None (arguably Prisma Gorgon)

Good

  • Prisma Gorgon: (arguably Must Buy) MR11 crit-focused spool-up rifle. Powerful, but inaccurate, recoils hard, and has the worst Reload Ratio of any spool-up rifle. Not something I like particularly but far from a bad weapon, and by far the best item this visit.

Niche

  • Primed Expel: Large damage boost to the appropriate faction, but very high drain and ranking cost, and must be switched out for each faction. Powerful, but inconvenient, and for the most part overkill. Notably effective for Gas, Toxin or Slash status builds since the latter two double-dip in the damage bonus, and the former triple-dips. I personally don't bother with any of them.
  • Prisma Veritux: A better Veritux, which isn't saying much. One of the better Archwing melee weapons, but not the best (Centaur is generally considered the best), and Archwing is a pretty poor system right now. That said, Mastery is still Mastery.
  • Grustrag Three/Stalker/Zanuka Hunter Beacon: Beacon that forcibly spawns the corresponding assassin boss. Useful if you want to quickly farm their drops, but does not offer any special drops and are quite expensive.
  • Sands of Inaros: Quest that awards Inaros parts. Inaros is a solid Warframe, but this quest is always in Baro's stock so is a low priority.

Do Not Buy

  • None
